Currently, I have two Aurora 16 with 2 AES16 PCI cards.  If I get a new computer that does not offer
any PCI slots, would I still be able to run both Aurora 16 if I bought 2 LT-USB cards and installed one in each Aurora 16?  Would I still be able to record 32 tracks simultaneously with this setup?

Thank you.

Assuming this is a PC (?), no, you cannot use two USB connections simultaneously....On a Mac you can. Options would be:

1. Buy a Mac ;-) and use the two LT-USB cards.

2. Get two AES16e PCI Express cards (perhaps you can sell your PCI cards on eBay etc.);

3. Get a PC that has Thunderbolt and use an LT-TB Thunderbolt card in each Aurora and daisy chain them. This would be superior to USB in terms of latency performance and channel count.

Hi Mike!
Thank you for the prompt response.
Sorry, I forgot to tell you that this is for a PC.
I appreciate the information.
