The power up issue is known and the fix will be included in the next firmware revision.

Would also love to see level meters! We also seem to be one step closer to being able to link the volume controls!

Please explain what you are meaning here. The RTA page already shows level meters.

I've just installed the new Hilo remote app (version with the RTA). I must say that the RTA graphics is hideous, with mac Truck's wheels for knobs and metal mesh, LOL. What were you guys thinking? kinda took away the 'Classy' look of Lynx products.
Anyway hopefully the suggestions below will be of benefit:
- would be good to have a level readout for the volume 'wheel'.
- would be good to have labels for the amplitude of the graph or the peak would also displays a level.
- perhaps an option for a slower refresh rate
- I'm use to see Spectrum display spreads out horizontally, this one is square so it will take a bit of time to get use to.

Hi! I love the new EQ monitor. This is a great feature! For upgrade I like the "dual-mix" feature as SPAN. Two layers inside one with mixed colors with slow decay/movement.  http://i59.tinypic.com/28s4ox3.png It will be great! Or dual lines (or more, perhaps as mixer in/out) spectrum for simple visualization with medium decay/movement:  http://i60.tinypic.com/2ib20c0.png Maybe the next thing would be a "phase scope" :D Salut!

The UI graphics could look much nicer.
I wonder if Lynx knows how much buzz & excitement they would create by allowing users to re-skin the UI? Being able to swap out the image resources would be F***ing awesome! It would be one more personalized feature you don't get from other products.
Hey David, any hope that you guys would ever make this happen? Surely the choice of different skins has come up.

I just updated from v5 to v7.0, and now my Hilo always powers up to the Meters page. I live & breathe on the Routing page 100% of the time, and now have to navigate to it on EVERY power up. I set the "return to meters" to Never, but it still does this...... Am i missing something?
Also.... does anybody like the fact that you cannot configure the headphone output unless headphones are actually plugged in?? What is the point of this? What if my artist (or ME) is WEARING the headphones, and i want to turn down the volume or configure the output before i actually plug them in so as not to blow them away? This HAS happened to ME.... because the headphones were connected to a different input than my Monitors, and i got BLASTED by something unexpected. Not cool. 
Enough negativity....... I do love my Hilo....
