Hi

I’m looking to upgrade my pc and was wondering if there are any recommended specs for use with the Lynx2A card?

My current (very old) setup has: Intel core2 duo 2.6 Ghz, 2 gig Ram, not sure what motherboard, WinXP Prof.

As far as motherboards, would either of these possibly be suitable:

I have a Win7 Professional licence so was planning on using that

Hi,

There have been very good results with the ASUS mobos and our PCI cards (more-so than with Gigabyte mobos).

Just make sure that you have our latest driver and firmware and that you set your Performance settings in Windows to High Performance and all Power Saving OFF. Also, you will want to make sure all C-States and Speed Step settings are Disabled in the BIOS as they affect processor performance through power management as well.
