Hi,

Got L22 freezing after some hours of operation Confused
Motherboard is ASUS Z97-P.

Some history behind it:
- I had Gigabyte initially. Lots of issues.
- Updated to v25c - still had the problem with card freeze.
- Changed to ASUS H87 - got blue screen every 8-12 hours.
- Changed to ASUS Z97-P - current one - card freezes again from time to time.

Thought trying to downgrade the firmware to v24, but updater says "your firmware is up to date" and leaves...

What would you recommend?

Thank you,
Valery

Valery,

Here are the steps to get the firmware back:
* Download http://www.lynxstudio.com/nav/getFile.asp?i=80&t=download" rel="nofollow - this update r
* Run the updater until the intro screen, that details the current and new firmware versions.
* Hit "cancel"
* Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run
* Type in
C:\Lynx\L2Update OVERRIDE
* Follow the prompts to complete the programming.

Let me know if you have any trouble with that.

Thank you Paul, v24 seems to work stable, with some random dropouts from time to time, mostly at the moment when the sound starts playing...

Is there something to look at with regards to dropouts?
Some settings?

P.S. Average DPC latency is 1000 uS (up to 1333 uS at rear maximums).

Have you tried increasing the buffer size?

Yep - set at 1024. Still got dropouts. They never happen during ongoing playback (no matter how long it is), but almost always happen in the beginning of it.

Same situation at any sample rate...

1000us DPC latency is quite high  You need to correct that issue before you are going to be able to get clean playback.
