good morning,

i have problem with my new setting

i have a new PC  computer composed of

windows 8.1 pro
mother board GIGABYTE   GA-H87M-D3H (new update successfully)
processor intell 7 core 4770 K
16G RAM

my lynx studios components (buy in 2007)
lynx aes 16  version 2.00 build 23a latest driver install
aurora 8 2707172157 rev B with firmware Rev 28
i've done all the the latest drivers installed successfully in the aes16 and aurora8

so now the problems are
- there are a lot of drop out on the record/play window
-very big latence on cubase or nuendo and nothing is recognised and no sound
-open Finale 2009 causing dropout and no sound

but when i don't lunch a logiciel everything is green on the aurora windows and i can hear  the sound from media player or internet but after while there are some dropouts.
it is  the the same lynx card and aurora from my old setting and  i never have been any problem before  the old computer shut down.

so do you think the problem come from
- windows 8.1 pro
-computer (gigabyte motherboard)
-lynx materiels (aes 16 or aurora)

it's been a week now to try and i really don't know how to do ...
(i've just tried to enabled speedstep and all csteps , put the windows power alimenatation on high performance but nothing has changed)

if you 've got some idea....

thank you very much

best regards

Unfortunately that motherboard is not going to produce good results with that card. The reason is the Super ITE bridge chip they use just does not work well with our PCI cards. There is no real workaround except for either replacing the GigaByte board with an Asus equivalent, or replacing the AES16 card with the PCIe version, the AES16e.

Sorry for the trouble
