With the latest driver (23g) for LT-TB on Aurora 16, the Lynx Mixer trim settings are wonky. I use hardware inserts in Pro Tools, and the biggest problem I'm finding is +4 dB output, going to a -10 dB input, causing lots of overdrive distortion. This didn't seem to happen with previous drivers. My LT-TB firmware is up to date at 6.2. I'm not sure about the firmware on my Aurora as the firmware updater doesn't launch on my system (Dell Precision 5510, about a year old). I also uninstalled the previous driver, rebooted, then installed the current driver.

What happens is that I open Lynx Mixer and then tap on the trim button for, say, AIN 1-4, and it will change AOUT 1-4. Or it won't change at all. At least, not that it shows. I hear relays clicking inside the Aurora, so SOMETHING is happening, but not what I expect to happen. AIN always displays -10 dBV; AOUT will display -10 or +4, and that does seem to adjust when clicked on.

I hope you can help me with this!

I have not heard of this problem from others.
You can determine your Aurora firmware version from the Lynx mixer: Mixer > About. It should be 28.

If it is, and this problem continues, perhaps I can get remote access to your computer to check it out. Just call our support line during business hours to set that up

So, I think I fixed it (or, rather, it's better). It could also be coincidence.

I got a blue screen, and searched the error code... DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION or something like that. Turns out this is caused by an incompatibility between Windows 10 and Intel's SATA driver when using an SSD. The fix, per Tom's Hardware Guide, is to switch to the standard Windows SATA driver. So, I did. Lynx Mixer output trims can now be correctly adjusted between +4 and -10. Input trims... Well, they're all stuck at +4. Clicking on them doesn't do a thing, but at least it's not adjusting the output trim unpredictably.
