Electronics Engineer

Lynx Studio Technology, a leading manufacturer of digital audio products located in Costa Mesa, California, is seeking candidates for an Electronics Engineer position. In this position you will work closely with the Chief Hardware Engineer to develop professional audio products for the recording, live sound, and broadcast industries. Lynx offers competitive compensation with a 401K / profit-sharing plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop firmware for Xilinx FPGA’s using Verilog HDL
•Design and analyze analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
•Oversee product development from concept through production
•Create product test software and procedures
•Research and evaluate electronic components

REQUIREMENTS
•BSEE
•Minimum of 2 years experience in the following areas:
--Verilog coding and simulation
--Xilinx FPGA development tools
--Complex state machine design
--Embedded processors and coding in assembly language, C, and C++
--Digital circuit design
•Knowledge of A/D and D/A systems
•Experience with PCI Express and USB
•Proficiency with schematic capture using ORCAD
•Strong communication skills
