What do I need to use the Aurora with a desktop computer?
The Aurora can be used in conjunction with any audio interface that supports AES/EBU Digital I/O, or ADAT Lightpipe (requires addition of LT-ADAT expansion card), USB via the LT-USB card, Thunderbolt via the LT-TB card and MADI via the LT-MADI card. The Lynx AES16 and AES16e are popular choices as they support up to 16 channels of AES/EBU at sample rates up to 192kHz, and allow use of the Aurora Remote Control software. The LT-HD card allows Aurora converters to be recognized by Avid Pro Tools HD and Native systems.
