Can an AES16/AES16e be used with a MacPro?
OS X

The AES16 is a PCI card. All models of MacPro feature PCI-Express slots, which are not compatible with PCI cards.

However, if a PCIe > PCI expansion chassis is used, then AES16 cards can be used with a MacPro as long as driver build 43 or above is used.

The AES16e is a PCI Express card, and can be installed directly into any model of MacPro.
