Where on the LynxONE do I connect my internal CD-ROM drive?
Windows 2000/XP

The LynxONE has no connector for an internal CD-ROM drive. We recommend using digital audio extraction software to capture the audio from your CD’s and saving it to your hard disk drive as .WAV files. This way there is no additional Digital to Analog and Analog to Digital process and the full resolution of the audio is maintained. If your CD-ROM/DVD drive can reliably extract digital audio then you may be able to use Windows Media Player 7.0 or higher to extract digital audio from CDs and play it in real-time with no physical connection between the LynxONE and the CD-ROM drive. Be sure to read the installation notes for the CD Reader plug-in completely, as you must rename the existing WinAmp CD Reader plug-in before the new one will take effect. As these products are not made by Lynx, we do not guarantee that they will work with your system, nor can we provide technical support them.
