Do I need to wait for Synchrolock to Lock before passing audio through the Aurora?

It is recommended to allow Synchrolock to achieve full lock (Synchrolock LED lit up solid) before using the Aurora for AD conversion. It is OK to use the unit for DA conversion prior to full lock, however, please consider that:

  1. There will be an audible glitch when Synchrolock does lock.
  2. There will potentially be more jitter in the signal before Synchrolock locks.
