  • How do I determine which firmware revision is on my unit?
  • How can I do custom routing and input monitoring schemes?
  • When I power up my rack, the Aurora doesn't come on until I hit the power button. Why is that?
  • What are the MIDI ports for?
  • Do I need to wait for Synchrolock to Lock before passing audio through the Aurora?
  • Are there any considerations with using multiple Auroras in a single installation?
  • I am connecting the Aurora to a device that only supports 192kHz operation in dual-wire mode. How do I set this up?
  • I want to make my own cables - what are the pinouts?
  • What are the Hidden Front Panel Commands?

Are there any considerations with using multiple Auroras in a single installation?
There are a few:
  • Make sure that the units are clock-locked together, either with one Aurora as the master and the other as clock slaves, or with all Auroras slaving to a single clock source.
  • To use the Aurora Remote Control software on multiple units, it is necessary to have firmware Rev 13 on each one, and to use Version 13 of the Aurora Remote Control software.
  • It is not possible to use IrDA control on multiple units if they are in close proximity to each other.
  • We suggest having one rack space between each unit to avoid excessive heat accumulation.
  • Each unit will need to have its firmware programmed individually.
  • We do not recommend using multiple Aurora+LT-FW together because of bandwidth issues.
  • Although it is possible to connect two Aurora+LT-USB to a single computer, the ASIO driver will only allow access to the first Aurora+LT-USB.
