I’m inputting a mono source, but can only hear it out of one output channel. How can I hear the audio out of both speakers?
All OS

Normally, monitor source AIn1 (Analog In 1) is assigned to Analog Out 1, and AIn2 (Analog In 2) is assigned to Analog Out 2. To listen to a mono source through both outputs, click the output monitor source button on Analog Out 2 that is labeled AIn2 (Analog In 2), and choose Record > Record 1 L (Analog In 1). This will allow you to monitor the incoming mono signal through analog outputs 1 and 2.

It is important to consider:

  • You would still be recording a mono track in your recording software – not stereo.
  • Remember to switch this monitor source back to its original state when you wish to monitor a stereo source – otherwise you will be monitoring Analog In 1 only.
  • When recording mono sources in an MME/WDM application, only the left record channel is used.
